Are You Still Mad at Me  – By John Isaacs
[British, b. 1968] 2009 / Plaster, steel, wire..

Some critics have called John Isaacs’ work, which is intended to shock its audience, “meat art”. The forward angle of the torso and the title, “Are you still mad at me?”, invites the audience to wonder why the figure is being punished. Like many other skulls and skeletons in the exhibition, this figure emphasizes that which all human being have in common.
