Saturday, April 7 – Richard Harris talks about his 1,500 piece death-inspired collection, which he has assembled over a dozen years.

Friday, April 20 – Jonathan P. Canning, Curator at Martin D’Arcy Museum of Art and LUMA, Loyola University Museum of Art, discusses the popularity of skeletons in European art from the Middle Ages to the 18th century. Attendees will gain insights on how to interpret the skeleton imagery and the messages artists aim to impart to the viewer.

Wednesday, April 25 – Dr. Paul Jaskot, Professor of Art History at DePaul University, discusses the work of acclaimed artist Otto Dix, whose 20th century masterpiece Der Kreig is featured in Morbid Curiosity

Saturday, April 28 – Marcos Raya discusses his five works celebrating the Mexican holiday Day of the Dead that are showcased in Morbid Curiosity.
